Anti-terror police arrest seven
Seven men have been arrested by anti-terrorist police during raids in Edinburgh and west London. Security sources said the men were being held on suspicion of terrorist activity potentially linked to extremist Islamic beliefs.
Three of the men, of north African origin, were arrested in the Jock's Lodge area of Edinburgh early on Wednesday morning.

Pensioner shot cat for trying to snatch his goldfish
An Austrian pensioner has been fined £460 for shooting a cat that tried to snatch his goldfish. The 63-year-old from Vienna, who is a gun enthusiast and member of a shooting club, shot the cat with an air rifle after he spotted it by his garden pond.
Wegen Goldfischen Kater erschossen
Wegen Tierquälerei ist ein Pensionist aus der Donaustadt heute zu einer Geldstrafe von 720 Euro verurteilt worden. Er erschoss einen Kater, weil dieser sich an seinen Goldfischen "vergriffen" hatte.

I hadn’t planned on attending a Nazi march, but I have to admit I was intrigued when I was on the campus of Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich and was handed a flyer that announced an anti-Nazi demonstration to protest a planned Nazi march on the Goetheplatz on November 30th. ................ Oh, heck, I’m just gonna admit it. The thought of a riot breaking out and having the chance to kick a Nazi where the sun don’t shine was just too good to pass up.

The domains, jehad.net and jehadonline.org, are now in the control of a manager for a large Minnesota financial services firm.
But some said the Minnesota man's actions, like those of other patriotic hackers, could hinder rather than help the U.S. government's war on terrorism.
"This guy might think he's being a hero, but in fact he's an idiot," said an official with DV2, the Atlanta ISP that hosts the sites. "The FBI has been closely watching these sites, and by taking the law into his own hands he may have screwed that up."

Ein weiterer Konflikt trübt das deutsch-amerikanische Verhältnis. Die US-Regierung protestiert massiv gegen die Ausstrahlung des umstrittenen Dokumentarfilms "Das Massaker in Afghanistan" in der ARD. Der Film des Iren Jamie Doran scheint grausame Kriegsverbrechen der Amerikaner zu belegen. Das US-Außenministerium bestreitet die Vorwürfe.
