A man who got his penis stuck in a steel pipe had to be cut free by firefighters using a metal grinder, after doctors in casualty could not free his genitals from their metal trap.

Oink - 'Pirate' music site allowed 21 million downloads, court told
Alan Ellis, 26, was the founder of the Oink website which had around 200,000 members and allowed 21 million downloads before it was closed down in 2007.
Teesside Crown Court heard that the site was free to join, by invitation only with members able to propose a friend, but users had to pay a donation of at least £5.

Nearly all Terry Gilliam’s movies since Monty Python and the Holy Grail have survived more than the usual load of stress and strain wrought by busted budgets, distributor hassles, arguments over cinematographers and fights over final cut — not to mention floods, heart attacks and a broken back.
But all those obstacles pale next to the tragedy Gilliam (pictured) faced in January 2008, when his star actor Heath Ledger died halfway through production on The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, the director’s latest cinematic flight of fancy.

The Dewaele brothers, who were behind 2 Many DJs' landmark mash up album As Heard on Radio Soulwax Pt. 2, are taking to the airwaves this year.
David and Stephen, who record under many different guises including 2 Many DJs, Soulwax and the Flying Dewaele Brothers, revealed to 6 Music that during the first half of this year they plan to launch Radio Soulwax.

Sea Shepherd’s high-tech speedboat heavily damaged after collision with Japanese whaling ship
A high-tech trimaran used by anti-whaling activists to try to halt Japanese hunters in the Antarctic has been sliced in two and is in danger of sinking, say crew-members.
The Sea Shepherd Conservation Society said its powerboat Ady Gil was rammed by a Japanese security vessel.
According to reports, the Shonan Maru 2 also launched projectiles.
Sea Shepherd’s Australian director Jeff Hansen said: “The Shonan Maru 2 had it in its direct line of sight, coming straight for it.

Amazing cloud roll captured on camera
They are most common when an advancing storm front causes moist air to rise, then cool to the point where it becomes a cloud known as the dew point.
When this happens along a front, a roll cloud can form, often with air actually circulating along the horizontal axis of the cloud.

Auf den ersten Blick ist der YouTube-Clip lustig, aber ein bißchen albern.
Wenn einem dann aber wieder einfällt, dass von der CIA auf den hinteren Seiten des “Journal of the American Medical Association” gelegentlich medical analysts gesucht werden, “um die gesundheitliche Verfassung ausländischer Staatsoberhäupter und Terroristen einzuschätzen”, wird schnell klar, dass auch ein Klo sich längt ohne weiteres als Orwelette nutzen läßt.
