She set the mark Wednesday during testing for a men's World Cup event this weekend. There are no professional competitions in the sport for women.

National Geographic Reveals Swimsuit Issue

There are bare breasts, naked bottoms and a cover girl wearing three well-placed shells and a bit of sand, but this is no girlie magazine. It's historical. It's cultural. And it's definitely geographic.

It's National Geographic.

The venerable yellow-bordered magazine, long a repository of gorgeous family-friendly photography, is publishing its first swimsuit issue, on newsstands and online on Saturday.

Farmers must keep pigs happy

Britain's farmers could face a fine if they fail to cater for the emotional well-being of their pigs.

Under a new ruling from Brussels, the country's farming community must provide their animals with "manipulable material" to give environmental enrichment.

The European Commission says this includes straw, hay, wood, compost or sawdust.

The aim is to keep animals contented and also prevent them from attacking each other.

For humans and robot, it's puppy love

AIBO the dog is not a bundle of fur but instead a lapdog-shaped collection of plastic parts, motors, gears and computer chips.

And it's true. AIBO won't die, although the robot does need to recharge its batteries from time to time. AIBO doesn't need dog food or treats. It won't wake you up at 3 a.m., begging for a quick walk around the block. It won't pee on the carpet or chase the cat.
