I, SNOWBOT
Snowden attending a TED conference in Vancouver in 2014. Edward Snowden lay on his back in the rear of a Ford Escape, hidden from view and momentarily unconscious, as I drove him to the Whitney museum one recent morning to meet some friends from the art world. Along West Street, clotted with traffic near the memorial pools of the World Trade Center, a computerized voice from my iPhone issued directions via the GPS satellites above. Snowden’s lawyer, Ben Wizner of the American Civil Liberties Union, was sitting shotgun, chattily recapping his client’s recent activities. For a fugitive wanted by the FBI for revealing classified spying programs who lives in an undisclosed location in Russia, Snowden was managing to maintain a rather busy schedule around Manhattan.

Eugenia Loli
Oh-hi, I'm Eugenia. I'm a filmmaker and a modern vintage collage artist. Before art took over my life, I was in the technology sector. I'm originally from Greece, but for many years now I live in California.
It's important for me to "say" something with my artwork, so for the vast majority of my work there's a meaning behind them. I usually do this via presenting a "narrative" scene in my collages, like there's something bigger going on than what's merely depicted. Sometimes the scene is witty or sarcastic, some times it's horrific with a sense of danger or urgency, some times it's chill. I leave it to the viewer's imagination to fill-in the blanks of the story plot.

Possible Banksy work near GCHQ targets government surveillance
Mysterious street artist Banksy appears to have unveiled his latest creation – targeting the issue of government surveillance.
The artwork shows three 1950s-style agents, wearing brown trenchcoats and trilby hats, using devices to tap into conversations at a telephone box.
It appeared overnight on a street in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, just a few miles from GCHQ, the base of the UK's surveillance network.

A conversation with Terry Pratchett, author of The Carpet People
Deep among the Carpet fronds, where the wild snargs prowl, the Munrung tribe has known peace for decades. But now the old order is unraveling, and a new story is in the making. A story of Fray, sweeping a trail of destruction; of villainous mouls, hungry for power; and of two noble brothers on the adventure of a lifetime.
It’s a story that will come to a terrible end—if someone doesn’t do something about it. If everyone doesn’t do something about it .
