Dildo Delay at Hockey Game
Yes, you read that title correctly. An Ice Hockey game in Sweden’s second-tier professional league was delayed several times due to the fans littering the ice with dildos. The organized taunting of an opposing player also included banners and a large inflatable penis. Ahead of Tuesday’s match against Leksand, the website for AIK’s unofficial supporter group had instructed fans to bring dildos to the match to remind defenseman Jan Huokko of the sex scandal which plagued him earlier in the year.

Perroquet: beautiful slow-motion ambient film and images
Conventional fashion photography allows the image-maker to draw on a wealth of outside creative resources -be it a hair-stylist, make-up artist, or fashion stylist - to enable them to realise their intentions. In Parroquet, the subject matter encouraged Sundsbø to take a somewhat different approach, focusing on one specific element: the movement of the bird in flight.

Blackwater has a warship?
BLACKWATER Worldwide — the US private military contractor embroiled in controversy over its actions in Iraq — has sent a private sector warship equipped with helicopters to the Gulf of Aden, and is offering its services to shipowners concerned with Somali piracy.
The vessel, McArthur, is described as a multipurpose unit designed to support military and law-enforcement training, peace-keeping and stability operations.

Iran arrests pigeons for spying
In what could see a major escalation of tension between Iran and the West, Iranian security forces have announced that they have arrested two pigeons for spying.
The two pigeons were detained in Natanz, near Iran's uranium enrichment facility – one of the major sources of the diplomatic chill between Tehran and Western governments.
