The legendary and mysterious artist, Banksy, has taken over the Bristol Museum for a stunning summer showing: Banksy vs. Bristol Museum. The exhibit opened on June 13, 2009 and ends on August 31, 2009. For those lucky enough to get there, admission to this unique exhibit is free.

A blunt slogan and a simple image: these basic elements of persuasion, protest, propaganda or making a point have been used in tandem and to great effect for as long as anyone reading this has been alive. Presumably, these messages have always been received in a variety of ways. But these days, it seems, when a slogan and an image reach a significant audience, that’s not the end of the process. iPhone 3GS geknackt
Dem Hacker George Hotz ist es offenbar gelungen, ein Programm zu entwickeln, mit dem man beliebige Software auf dem iPhone 3GS installieren kann. Dem "purplera1n" getauften Tool fehlt allerdings noch die Möglichkeit, dem Smartphone andere SIM-Karten als solche des Netzbetreibers unterzuschieben, bei dem es gekauft wurde.

iPhone 3GS Gets Jailbroken, Hack Available Online
The first jailbreaking application for the iPhone 3GS is now available. The tool, called purplera1n, will only allow the installation of unofficial third-party applications, but will not unlock the iPhone 3GS.

Drogenbeauftragte will Online-Spiele für Jugendliche sperren
Die Bundesdrogenbeauftragte Sabine Bätzing (SPD) fordert, "Computerspielsucht" stärker zu untersuchen und besonders populäre Online-Spiele nur für Erwachsene freizugeben. Ob es eine spezifische Suchterkrankung bei Computernutzern tatsächlich gibt, ist unter Fachleuten aber nach wie vor umstritten.
