It Only Took One Day To Hack Adobe Photoshop CC
One of the speculation on the move Adobe made to the creative cloud is that it was done to address piracy. This is not surprising considering that Photoshop is probably the most pirated software ever.
Adobe CC was only released yesterday. Yet, a quick search on any of the big "sharing" sites reveals a Photoshop CC torrent, at least for windows.

PowerPot Thermoelectric Generator
The minute we saw the PowerPot, we had to put it in our emergency kit. Whether we're losing power because the power company had a derpy day, after a big storm, or because the zombies have finally taken down the grid, it will be oh-so-handy to have a device that can boil our drinking water while charging our most useful electronics.
The PowerPot is a thermoelectric generator, so it converts any heat source directly into power that charges your USB handheld device.

Marijuana Legislation: How Legal Is Cannabis Consumption In Each US State?
Medical marijuana use is currently legal in 18 states and Washington, DC, and six more states seem to be following suit. However, the market for legally produced and distributed marijuana is largely untapped, and is expected to explode into a multimillion dollar industry, especially after more states make the move to legalize the drug.
And that’s what entrepreneurs and investors came together to discuss at at the ArcView Group’s quarterly forum on Friday.
Though potentially lucrative, the legal marijuana industry cannot truly mature before laws favoring the responsible distribution of marijuana are passed on local, state and federal levels.
Here is an interactive map that charts out where every American state currently stands on the marijuana use. Click on any state for details. Refer to the key provided below the map.

How to identify CIA limited hangout op?
The operations of secret intelligence agencies aiming at the manipulation of public opinion generally involve a combination of cynical deception with the pathetic gullibility of the targeted populations.
There is ample reason to believe that the case of Edward Joseph Snowden fits into this pattern. We are likely dealing here with a limited hangout operation, in which carefully selected and falsified documents and other materials are deliberately revealed by an insider who pretends to be a fugitive rebelling against the excesses of some oppressive or dangerous government agency.

PRISM, Edward Snowden, Big Brother & More Stuff We Already Knew
So there’s been 100s of articles posted about PRISM, which also now has a lengthy Wikipedia article – PRISM (surveillance program). Apparently PRISM (2007-present) is the program that replaces the previous (2001-2007) NSA warrantless surveillance program.
So the US government has been watching everyone, no shit (Nineteen Eighty-Four?).
PRISM is a clandestine national security electronic surveillance program operated by the United States National Security Agency (NSA) since 2007. PRISM is a government codename for a data collection effort known officially as US-984XN. It is operated under the supervision of the United States Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court pursuant to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA).

Leaked: NSA's Talking Points Defending NSA Surveillance
he government has been passing around some "talking points" to politicians and the press trying to spin the NSA surveillance story. We've got the talking points about scooping up business records (i.e., all data on all phone calls) and on the internet program known as PRISM. Both are embedded below. Let's dig in on a few of the points, starting with the business records/FISA issue:
The news articles have been discussing what purports to be a classified, lawfully-authorized order that the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISA Court) issued under an Act of Congress – the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA). Under this Act, the FISA Court authorized a collection of business records. There is no secret program involved here – it is strictly authorized by a U.S. statute.

U.S. Agencies Said to Swap Data With Thousands of Firms
Thousands of technology, finance and manufacturing companies are working closely with U.S. national security agencies, providing sensitive information and in return receiving benefits that include access to classified intelligence, four people familiar with the process said.
These programs, whose participants are known as trusted partners, extend far beyond what was revealed by Edward Snowden, a computer technician who did work for the National Security Agency. The role of private companies has come under intense scrutiny since his disclosure this month that the NSA is collecting millions of U.S. residents’ telephone records and the computer communications of foreigners from Google Inc (GOOG). and other Internet companies under court order.
