Spies worry over "doomsday" cache stashed by ex-NSA contractor Snowden
British and U.S. intelligence officials say they are worried about a "doomsday" cache of highly classified, heavily encrypted material they believe former National Security Agency contractor Edward Snowden has stored on a data cloud.
The cache contains documents generated by the NSA and other agencies and includes names of U.S. and allied intelligence personnel, seven current and former U.S. officials and other sources briefed on the matter said.
The data is protected with sophisticated encryption, and multiple passwords are needed to open it, said two of the sources, who like the others spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss intelligence matters.

Im Verlauf des Wahlkampfes zu der Bundestagswahl am 22. September 2013 hat Andreas Aerts die Kandidaten und die Politiker zu der Cannabisabgabe in Coffeeshops im Zusammenhang mit dem „Brennpunkt“ Görlitzer Park befragt. Die Kernfrage an die Kandidaten lautete in Kurzform, ob sie die Einrichtung von Coffeeshops im Allgemeinen und im speziellen Fall des Görlitzer Parks als sinnvoll erachten. Die erhaltenen Antworten präsentiert Andreas Aerts als Buch mit dem Titel „Coffee-Shop“ im PDF-Format in Form einer kommentierten Zusammenstellung.

105 Strafrechtsprofessoren unterschrieben eine Petition für vier Millionen Konsumenten.
In den USA ist man dabei, den Konsum von Cannabis im großen Stil zu legalisieren. In mehreren Bundesstaaten soll ein Coffeeshop-Modell entstehen. Der Börsenguru George Soros unterstützte die Kampagne finanziell. Er sagt: „Wir sollten lieber in effiziente Bildung investieren als in ineffiziente Gefängnisaufenthalte.“

New Snowden leaks reveal US, Australia's Asian allies
Singapore and South Korea are playing key roles helping the United States and Australia tap undersea telecommunications links across Asia, according to top secret documents leaked by former US intelligence contractor Edward Snowden. New details have also been revealed about the involvement of Australia and New Zealand in the interception of global satellite communications.
A top secret United States National Security Agency map shows that the US and its “Five Eyes” intelligence partners tap high speed fibre optic cables at 20 locations worldwide. The interception operation involves cooperation with local governments and telecommunications companies or else through “covert, clandestine” operations.

NSA infected 50,000 computer networks with malicious software
The American intelligence service - NSA - infected more than 50,000 computer networks worldwide with malicious software designed to steal sensitive information. Documents provided by former NSA-employee Edward Snowden and seen by this newspaper, prove this.
A management presentation dating from 2012 explains how the NSA collects information worldwide. In addition, the presentation shows that the intelligence service uses ‘Computer Network Exploitation’ (CNE) in more than 50,000 locations. CNE is the secret infiltration of computer systems achieved by installing malware, malicious software.

Just 90 companies caused two-thirds of man-made global warming emissions
The climate crisis of the 21st century has been caused largely by just 90 companies, which between them produced nearly two-thirds of the greenhouse gas emissions generated since the dawning of the industrial age, new research suggests.
The companies range from investor-owned firms – household names such as Chevron, Exxon and BP – to state-owned and government-run firms.
