Terrorists 'could use exploding breast implants to blow up jet'


Radical Islamist plastic surgeons could be carrying out the implant operations in lawless areas of Pakistan, security sources are said to warned.

Explosives experts have reportedly said just five ounces of Pentaerythritol Tetrabitrate packed into a breast implant would be enough to blow a “considerable” hole in the side of a jumbo jet.

200-Year-Old Wooden Sex Toys Sell for $5,300


A pair of 200-year old sex toys shaped as gigantic wooden phalluses sold at a U.K. auction for $5,300 Thursday.

Staff at Brentwood Antiques Auction in Essex described the sex toys as "extraordinary and exceptionally rare" and said they were probably French and dated back to the late 1700s.

Russian billionaire Alexander Lebedev acquires British newspaper


At a time when newspapers are having a hard time finding solutions to make up for dropping revenues, Russian tycoon Alexander Lebedev has struck a long-awaited deal to buy The Independent newspaper after weeks of will-he-won’t-he. The former KGB agent, Lebedev has also acquired The Evening Standard of London last year. Mr. Lebedev’s company has agreed to contribute $13.7 million, to take on the future liabilities of the newspapers for over 10 months. While a many might be suspecting some hidden propaganda behind the deal, overall it’s such a relief as the industry looks ahead to reinvent the future.

SWAT team responds to stolen pizza


Police say a plot to steal a delivery man’s pizza brought out a SWAT team in Alaska.

Police spokesman Lt. Dave Parker says a man trying to deliver a pizza order Sunday night was confronted outside a northeast Anchorage home by a man with a gun and a stick. He says three other people attacked him from behind, grabbed the pizza but ran away without taking his money.
