Hippies [2007]
This TV documentary on the History Channel has many flaws, the greatest of which is allowing overarching, borderline ridiculous right-wing condemnations of hippie culture to remain unchallenged, but still it fascinates as a glimpse at the drug-fueled, youth-driven counterculture of the late 1960s. Too much time, unfortunately, is wasted on sensationalist, irrelevant side-stories and not enough is spent on the substantive contributions of the hippie aesthetic to the culture at large. There are also a few glaring historical accuracies; for example, one could easily conclude from the film that the Vietnam War ended after 1969 -- which would certainly come as a surprise to the soldiers who served there from 1970-1973. But at least the film, at its end, correctly, if only briefly, touches upon some of the many lasting contributions of the hippie ethos to the culture at large; these include the consciousness movement, the environmental movement, and the computer/technological revolution which led to the democratization of information by the Internet.

California greed weed
We may have taken a foot forward, but greed has ripped us back into the arenas with the pharmaceutical companies. Do we take it back to the underground? It is well known the streets are cheaper. Again the problem arises, along with many others, such as; finding medical grade “Medi-juana” in a clean, safe, comfortable environment with kind and knowledgeable people there to assist, and not intimidate a patient with hard sell, high priced, rush in, rush out mentality. They are selling “Greed Weed” in the name of compassion!

Louis Vuitton VS Fake for Real
The Fake for Real Memory Game – consisting of 60 cards that playfully visualize the classical theme of fake and real in our society – has temporarily been taken offline due to legal issues with a luxury leather luggage brand Louis Vuitton.
The Fake for Real memory game is sold in a stylish box, decorated with a pattern resembling the internationally renowned Louis Vuitton pattern, which was ironically mimicked using right-free ‘webdings’ fonts from MS Word.

NASA Chief Vents On Shuttle Program's End
In a leaked memo, NASA Administrator Mike Griffin discusses 'the jihad' to prematurely terminate the Shuttle and what that means for the International Space Station. One implication: there may come a long interval when only our Russian Allies are aboard the Space Station. Add that bit of irony to your new cold war kit and then wonder why Griffin discusses why we wouldn't sabotage the Space Station, and how and why the memo got leaked in the first place.

Make Your Own Time-Lapse Photography System
Movies were born when Auguste and Louis Lumiere (and ultimately Thomas Edison) projected a series of still photos in rapid succession, causing the viewer to perceive motion where there was none.
Matching the projector's speed with the speed of the camera made the motion lifelike. Undercranking (running the camera slowly) and overcranking (running the camera faster than the projector) caused a film to appear faster or slower than reality. It wasn't long after the invention of motion pictures that camera operators and directors intentionally ran the camera faster or slower than normal to create special effects.

Wer hat den Größten? - PENIS-MUSEUM IN ISLAND
