Brewer wins right to bottle 'legal weed'
The agency had believed the caps were an attempt to promote the use of marijuana but brewer Vaune Dillmann, 61, said it was just a reference to a brand name.
A triumphant Dillmann said: 'Weed fought the law and Weed won.'

The hunt for the 100kph skateboarder
Police in Germany are trying to track down a man filmed riding a skateboard down a steep stretch of motorway at 62 mph.
They believe the man, who raced down the Ulm-Stuttgart motorway at speeds up to 100kph (62mph) - far above the speed limit - for two miles before he stopped and fled, was a professional stuntman, Goeppingen police spokesman Uli Stoeckle said.

Solar plant yields water and crops from the desert
Vast greenhouses that use sea water for crop cultivation could be combined with solar power plants to provide food, fresh water and clean energy in deserts, under an ambitious proposal from a team of architects and engineers.
The Sahara Forest Project, which is already running demonstration plants in Tenerife, Oman and the United Arab Emirates, envisages huge greenhouses with concentrated solar power (CSP), a technology that uses mirrors to focus the sun's rays, creating steam to drive turbines to generate electricity.

I have recently become a little re-enchanted about the idea of alien life while listening to some of our community's dialog about episode #150 of the Psychedelic Salon [DIRECT Mp3 Download], specifically on the C-Realm and the Cleaver.
I'm also thinking of the recent comments made by NASA moon walkers Dr Edgar Mitchell and even Buzz Aldrin. Top all of this off with the Vatican's chief astronomer publicly stating that "...the vastness of the universe means it is possible there could be other forms of life outside Earth, even intelligent ones and that this belief doesn't contradict the Catholic faith because aliens would still be God's creatures!"
