5 Great Ways To Leave A Tip
I was over at a Japanese friend’s house the other night and he started to show me how to make origami with Japanese money. We were having a great time when he said, “The only problem is that there is no tipping in Japan. When I was In the US, I would fold the dollar bills there and leave them as tips. It was so much fun watching the waitresses when they went to gather the tips. I miss doing that.”

GYBO Recommends Part 1
If I had a webcam, you would see me hanging my head in shame. GYBO Recommends has been neglected, but we're here to make up for it.
Here's part 1 of a huge GYBO Recommends round up. These tunes are from the tail end of last year, so while the threads are still on GYBO, it is possible that one or two of these may no longer be online. Good luck....

Mad Mash-Up Mix...
Ok, I've been posting a few mash-ups lately, and thought I'd compile some of the better ones into a collection here. Chances are, you've not heard of all the names (outside of Morel that is), but the radio and blog world have been buzzing with many of these tunes in the last few years, so enjoy.

Can you feel the force?
In 1977, disco bestrode the globe like an afro-haired, stack-heeled colossus. There had been disco records before, notably Donna Summer's Love to Love You Baby and George McCrae's Rock Your Baby. But by 1977, disco - dance music's logical next step after the orchestrated, soul-based Philadelphia sound of the early 70s - came to seem less like a series of wonderful flukes and more like the soundtrack to a pop era. The Trammps and Tavares, Thelma Houston and T-Connection, the Brothers Johnson and the Fatback Band were all over the radio and the charts.

US killer robots take jobs from flyboys, dolphins
"Team Warrior", a killer robot manufacturing alliance led by General Atomics of San Diego, CA, announced yesterday that its Warrior Extended Range/Multi Purpose Unmanned Aerial Vehicle System (ERMP UAS) would enter production for the US Army, another step in the US forces' ongoing effort to automate most military activities.
The Warrior is based on the design of the existing US Air Force Predator, which is already in action in southwest Asia and has also been used by the CIA for assassination missions.
