Indonesia mulls ban on kissing in public
Indonesia's government is considering a law banning unwed couples from pecking in public -and harshly penalizing those who do, the Jakarta Post reported Saturday.
The campaign against kissing is part of a proposal of sweeping reforms to laws adopted by the country's Dutch colonial rulers in the late 19th century.

Music Industry Sues 83-Year-Old Dead Woman
Gertrude Walton was recently targeted by the recording industry in a lawsuit that accused her of illegally trading music over the Internet. But Walton died in December after a long illness, and according to her daughter, the 83-year-old hated computers.
More than a month after Walton was buried in Beckley, a group of record companies named her as the sole defendant in a federal lawsuit, claiming she made more than 700 pop, rock and rap songs available for free on the Internet under the screen name "smittenedkitten."

Wiener U2-Konzert in Rekordzeit ausverkauft
Heute hat der Kartenvorverkauf für das Konzert von U2 am 2. Juli im Ernst-Happel-Stadion begonnen. In der Rekordzeit von einer Stunde und 14 Minuten waren alle Tickets verkauft.

Miami cops find millions of missing nickels
Police hit paydirt Friday, digging up 3.6 million nickels that disappeared along with a trucker who was supposed to deliver them to the U.S. Federal Reserve Bank in New Orleans.
Authorities found the $180,000 in coins buried in a one-metre hole in the backyard of a suburban-Miami home. The nickels, still stored in their Federal Reserve bags, were in a wooden box, covered with a plastic tarp.

Der Hund des Münchner Modezars Rudolph Moshammer lauscht täglich der Stimme seines ermordeten Herrchens. Die CD, die Moshammer besprochen hat, gebe Daisy nach Angaben des Chauffeurs Andreas K. Kraft und festige ihre Seelenlage, sagte er der Zeitschrift "die aktuelle".

US-Musikindustrie hat Verstorbene des Dateitauschs bezichtigt
Von einem absurden Fall berichtet die US-amerikanische Zeitung The Charleston Gazette. Demnach hat der Verband der US-Musikindustrie Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) gegen eine bereits einen Monat zuvor im Alter von 83 Jahren verstorbene Dame Klage eingereicht. Angeblich soll sie unter dem Nick-Namen "smittenedkitten" 700 Pop-, Rock- und Rap-Songs illegal im Internet zum Tausch angeboten haben.
