Naomi Campbell Goes Public About Her Drug Addiction
Supermodel Naomi Campbell, who won a legal battle against a tabloid newspaper over revelations about her drug addiction, is to talk about her drug battles on a national TV talk show.
In an interview with veteran British talk show host Michael Parkinson on Saturday night, Campbell, 34, said she took her first drugs 10 years ago.
"I did a drug, a speedy drug," she added, according to a transcript of the show released Friday.
Parkinson asks whether it was like cocaine.
Campbell replies: "Uh-huh" before adding: "No one forced me to do it. I did it because I wanted to. I don't have any blame for anyone but myself."

Moscow Police Beat Up Cosmonaut in Racist Attack
Two Moscow policemen beat up a Russian cosmonaut who had a “Chechen” surname, the Moskovsky Komsomolets daily reported on Friday.
The incident took place near the Vykhino metro station in south-east Moscow on Thursday night. Colonel Magomed Tolboyev was stopped by two police sergeants for a routine document check. After the law enforcers saw the colonel’s name, which suggests he is of Caucasian Muslim descent, they started beating him up. The beating stopped only after passers-by called the police station. Before leaving the attackers said: “Get away from here, you black, and tell your kinsmen we will strangle all of you, whatever the cost.”

The 'Soup Nazi' Expands
Real-Life 'Seinfeld' Character Plans to Franchise His Store; A Ban on Sitcom Tie-Ins
About a decade ago, Al Yeganeh, a surly New York City soup seller, gained global fame when he inspired a character on the hit TV sitcom "Seinfeld." Now, the notorious chef -- known for chewing out some customers and refusing to serve others -- is taking his own show on the road.
Later this year, the real-life "Soup Nazi" will begin selling his legendary bisques, chowders and gumbos at franchised locations throughout the country -- but with one missing ingredient: Mr. Yeganeh plans to bar the franchisees from using the term "Soup Nazi" in their promotional materials. In fact, he doesn't want his simmering soup empire to have any overt association with the show that helped make him famous. Tie-ins with "Seinfeld" will be "strongly discouraged" among franchisees, the company says.

Plofsky denied any wrongdoing and vowed to fight for his job.
