Piracy blitz unites film industry
Film companies in the UK have joined forces for the first time to convince movie fans that buying pirate DVDs funds terrorism and drug dealing.
The £1.5m Piracy is a Crime campaign, the biggest of its kind yet in the UK, was launched in London on Monday by broadcaster Jonathan Ross.

Pirated Dvds 'More Lucrative Than Drugs'
DVD piracy is more profitable than drug trafficking, a new report claimed today.
One kilo of pirated discs is worth more than one kilo of cannabis resin.
Terrorists, people traffickers and paramilitaries are among the organised crime groups behind the £500 million industry, according to Interpol.
Now a new anti-piracy campaign has been launched to warn off consumers.

Pot plot uncovered during Olympic torch relay
Greek police say they stumbled across a cannabis plantation during the Olympic torch relay through the island of Crete at the weekend.
The plantation, covering 185 metres, was spotted at the base of a gully in the north-east of the island from a police helicopter which was carrying out an aerial surveillance of the relay on Sunday.

Colombian airport police find $47,500 cash inside passenger's stomach
A suspect swallowed nearly $50,000 in cash in a failed attempt to smuggle the funds out of Colombia, officials said Monday.
Bogota airport police said they X-rayed the suspect because he was acting nervous while preparing to board a flight for Lima, Peru. The X-ray showed dozens of latex-wrapped packets inside his stomach and police assumed it was drugs, since such a smuggling technique is used by traffickers.

Man Loses Keys 16 Years Ago, Found Embedded In Leg
An Iranian man was suprised when he reunited with the keys he lost 16 years ago.
The 50-year old man fired a rifle 16 years ago by accident, which injured his leg. The bullet was removed, but the keys that were lodged in his leg were left there.
