How the Bugatti Veyron Works
How would you define the most amazing production car in the world? Would it be:
* The car with the most horsepower?
* The car with the fastest top speed and acceleration?
* The most expensive car?
At the moment, the Bugatti Veyron appears to have it all:
* A W-16 engine that can produce 1,001 horsepower
* A top speed of 250+ mph (400+ kph)
* A zero-to-60 time of three seconds
* A zero-to-180 time of 14 seconds
* A price tag somewhere in the $1 million range.

A SELF-cooling can that uses a vacuum to chill beer is set to be a big hit with the lads across Britain this summer.
Scientists say the temperature of the drink drops 16.7°C (30°F) in three minutes and stays cold for up to an hour.

Sex and the mission
Bei langen bemannten Raumfahrtmissionen sollen die Astronauten zukünftig chemisch sterilisiert werden. Dies sagte Dr. Rachel Armstrong auf einer Tagung der British Interplanetary Society.
Dadurch soll 'die Sexualität als Konfliktpotenzial und Ablenkung' unterdrückt werden. Eine sexuelle Beziehung unter Astronauten könnte das sensible Gruppengefüge bei einer Mission verändern und Neid und Missgunst erzeugen.
Außerdem könne auch eine einseitige sexuelle Lust nicht ausgeschlossen werden, die im schlimmsten Fall zu Vergewaltigungen führen könnte.

Der Relevanz vieler Weblogs ist umstritten. Militärs und Geheimdienste finden einige von ihnen jedoch äußerst informativ.
Weblogs sind nicht mehr, als persönliche Nachrichten und Kommentare privater Internetnutzer. Geheimdienste interessieren sich trotzdem dafür, werden doch in einigen Online-Tagebüchern auch Nachrichten ausgewertet und Informationen gesammelt, die sonst nirgendwo zu lesen oder zu sehen sind.
