U.S. Military Computer Systems Used to Post Disinformation on AntiPolygraph.org

It appears that the polygraph countermeasure information provided on AntiPolygraph.org (see The Lie Behind the Lie Detector [1 mb PDF])so alarms some in the United States Government that they have taken to posting disinformation on the AntiPolygraph.org message board, which is uncensored. (Because of the unreliablity of lie detector "testing," which has no scientific basis and results in many truthful persons being falsely branded as liars, many truthful persons choose to use countermeasures to protect themselves against the risk of a false positive outcome.)

Denmark Declassifies Iraq WMD Reports

Today the Danish government - after political pressure - published a series of pre-war intelligence reports on Iraq and WMD. The reports have all been declassified over the weekend from confidential ("fortroligt") and secret ("hemmeligt") level.

The main source for Danish intelligence were their UK and US counterparts so a lot of the info now published is 'second hand goods'.

The reports are heavily excised. They're in Danish. I'll see if I can find the time to translate them.

Gallery Of The Forbidden

The exhibits in this GALLERY OF THE FORBIDDEN feature artifacts related to various historical censorship incidents. Many highlight a couple of often-overlooked aspects of censorship:

It is the packaging of musical products – rather than the "controversial" lyrical content within – that has often provided busybody “moral guardians” with the easiest avenue of attack against artists whose ideas (or existence) they object to.

And, it is the corporate music biz itself – rather than the traditional "usual suspects" (parents, preachers, principals, & police) – that does most of the "reining in" of today’s artists.

Garlic butter. Peanut butter. Or just butter. All may be household names. Now farmers in the Baltic state of Latvia want to introduce a hitherto unknown butter, cannabis butter, to the world.

SPAM there are 600.426.974.379.824.381.952 ways to spell viagra

When electronic mail was first developed, it was devised for one purpose, and one purpose only: To peddle pills of Viagra.

Because internet marketers love teaching others about medicine and the alphabet, the word "Viagra" is always spelled in hot, new, creative ways. For example, it might have a lower case "L" in the space where a capital "I" would go, or perhaps an "@" symbol where the letter "a" should be.

After I received 80,730 different emails trying to sell viagra, I started to wonder: How many different ways are there to spell Viagra?
