Derbe Witze auf Kosten einer Schülerin kommen "TV Total"-Moderator Raab teuer zu stehen: Er hatte den Namen der 16-jährigen Lisa Loch wiederholt für anzügliche Wortspiele missbraucht. Wegen Verletzung der Persönlichkeitsrechte der jungen Frau wurde Raab heute zu Schadenersatz in Höhe von 70.000 Euro verurteilt.

Nudity on Television 1950 - 2000
In the Golden Days of 1950s television, the idea of nudity on the air was unheard of. Oh, there were the occasional accidental bits of nudity that resulted from a woman's breast falling out of her dress during a live broadcast or a male celebrity forgetting to pull up his zipper, but there wasn't very much else (except perhaps, for the police drama THE NAKED CITY, but that doesn't count.)

Create a Hoax, Earn Damnation
The Overclockers.com website published a barely believable hoax last week detailing the gutting of a brand new and very expensive Power Mac G5. This brought on an unbelievable reaction from the Mac community.
The hoaxer, identified only as "Andy," claimed he received a dual-processor G5 for Christmas. But preferring a Windows PC, he swapped out the insides of the $3,000 machine for the guts of a cheapo PC. The post included several digital photographs to prove the outrageous claim.

Teen hacker triggered nuclear terrorism alert
A British teenager has narrowly escaped jail after sparking a nuclear panic by hacking into a top secret United States weapons laboratory.
Joseph McElroy, 18, who on Monday was ordered to serve a 200-hour community punishment order, bypassed the facility's electronic security systems with sophisticated software he had developed and nicknamed Deathserv.
McElroy wanted to use the advanced network's power to download and store films and music from the internet.

Pixies Tour Officially a Go
The much-ballyhooed reunion of seminal alternative rock act the Pixies is getting off the ground. Beyond a previously announced May 1 appearance at the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in Indio, Calif., the group is now confirmed to open for the Red Hot Chili Peppers on June 15 at Paris' Parc Des Princes. The quartet has not played live together since disbanding in 1993.

AUSTRALIA took a step towards building the world's tallest structure, a solar electricity plant measuring 1000 metres, as experts reported that it would be commercially viable. EnviroMission has spent 15 months investigating the feasibility of the concrete tower to be built at the fruit-growing town of Mildura on the border of Victoria and New South Wales states.
