The Face Of The Occupation Just Got Uglier
Last night, CBS' 60 Minutes Two aired allegations—supported by numerous photographs and witnesses—that document numerous cases of torture and abuse of Iraqi prisoners inside Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq.
Amongst the photographs were pictures of prisoners with wires attached to their genitals, prisoners stacked in a pyramid, prisoners forced to simulate oral sex on others, and prisoners who appear to have been beaten to death.

Sadistische KZ-Spiele

Photos show jail abuse by US troops
United States soldiers at a prison outside Baghdad have been accused of forcing Iraqi prisoners into acts of sexual humiliation and other abuses.
The charges, first announced by the military in March, were documented by photographs taken by guards in the prison.

Secret Service questions student on drawings
Secret Service agents questioned a high school student about anti-war drawings he did for an art class, one of which depicted President Bush's head on a stick.
Another pencil-and-ink drawing portrayed Bush as a devil launching a missile, with a caption reading "End the war -- on terrorism."

U.S. Military Computer Systems Used to Post Disinformation on AntiPolygraph.org
It appears that the polygraph countermeasure information provided on AntiPolygraph.org (see The Lie Behind the Lie Detector [1 mb PDF])so alarms some in the United States Government that they have taken to posting disinformation on the AntiPolygraph.org message board, which is uncensored. (Because of the unreliablity of lie detector "testing," which has no scientific basis and results in many truthful persons being falsely branded as liars, many truthful persons choose to use countermeasures to protect themselves against the risk of a false positive outcome.)

Denmark Declassifies Iraq WMD Reports
Today the Danish government - after political pressure - published a series of pre-war intelligence reports on Iraq and WMD. The reports have all been declassified over the weekend from confidential ("fortroligt") and secret ("hemmeligt") level.
The main source for Danish intelligence were their UK and US counterparts so a lot of the info now published is 'second hand goods'.
The reports are heavily excised. They're in Danish. I'll see if I can find the time to translate them.
