Internet-Zentrale der El Kaida bei Razzia in Riad entdeckt
Im saudiarabischen Riad stieß die Polizei heute bei einer Razzia auf die Internet-Zentrale der terroristischen Vereinigung El Kaida.
Von dort aus, so vermutet man, sei eine Islamisten-Internetseite geschaltet worden. Bei deren Inhalt handelte es sich um Erklärungen der El Kaida.

Saudi Arabia Tells Militants to Repent or Die
Saudi Arabia warned Muslim militants they would share the fate of their slain leader unless they repented, as al Qaeda vowed renewed "holy war" in the kingdom.
Al Qaeda's leader in Saudi Arabia, Abdulaziz al-Muqrin, was shot dead by Saudi forces Friday along with three other prominent militants hours after they beheaded American hostage Paul Johnson, whose body has still not been found.

Al-Qaida statement confirms death of al-Moqrin, three other militants in Saudi shootout
The al-Qaida cell in Saudi Arabia confirmed Saturday that its leader, Abdulaziz al-Moqrin, and three other militants were killed in a shootout with Saudi forces in Riyadh the night before.
The cell also vowed to continue its holy war. The group, calling itself al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula, has claimed responsibility for a number of recent attacks targeting Westerners, including the kidnapping and Friday beheading of American Paul M. Johnson Jr.

Johnson's Body Found Near Saudi Capital
Saudi security officials have said that the body of the American Paul M. Johnson Jr has been found in the al-Munisiyah district near Saudi Arabia's capital Riyadh. The area has been sealed off.
As previously reported on sn, a message was posted on the internet in the name of Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula saying that Johnson has been beheaded after a 72 hour deadline wasn't met.

Die Entführer hatten am Mittwoch damit gedroht, den Ingenieur einer US-Rüstungsfirma am Freitag zu töten, sollte das saudi-arabische Königshaus nicht alle mutmaßlichen Extremisten aus den Gefängnissen entlassen.

Die Terrororganisation el-Kaida hat eine neue Methode gefunden, wie sie Werbung verbreitet. Die Gruppe hatte den Server von 'Silicon Valley Landsurveying Inc.' gehackt und dort in verzweigten Verzeichnissen ein Entführungsvideo versteckt.
