Four pounds of loose change found in man's stomach
It was almost like breaking open a piggy bank. Doctors performing emergency surgery on a man who was rushed to hospital writhing in pain were stunned when more than 4.2 pounds of loose change spilled out of his stomach.
Sanguan Pongsawat, 37, who has a history of mental disorders, was operated on Tuesday in the northern town of Payao, said Dr. Sakchai Athawiboon of the Payao hospital.
Sakchai said that Sanguan, who lived with his mother, had been swallowing the coins for a long time without her knowledge.

Ilker Yilmaz set a new world record Wednesday by squirting milk 2 meters, 79.5 centimeters, below his eyeball, shattering the old record of 2 meters, 61 centimeters.

Witchcraft blamed as man grows genital organ on face
IN a bizarre incident, a Bulawayo man allegedly developed a female genital organ on the right side of his face stretching up to the chest in what is suspected to be a case of witchcraft. Reporters from the Chronicle newspaper say they visited the man at the hospital, and found him having covered the alleged female organ with a towel.

Spanish tomato-tossing fiesta breaks record
A record 40,000 people thronged this small eastern Spanish town to take part in the annual "tomatina" -- a festival of tomato-hurling that leaves participants and buildings covered in red juice, pips and skin. Five trucks delivered 130 tonnes of the fruit for the hour-long combat which attracted foreign tourists, among them British, French, Argentinian and Japanese visitors, as well as locals, many wearing a minimum of clothing.

Bei der traditionellen Paradeiser-Schlacht „tomatina“ in dem ostspanischen Städtchen Bunol haben sich am Mittwoch so viele Menschen wie noch nie mit Paradeisern beworfen: 40.000 Menschen nahmen an dem Fest teil. Fünf Lastwagen luden 130 Tonnen Paradeiser in den Straßen der Kleinstadt ab, bevor um 12.00 Uhr das Signal zur Schlacht gegeben wurde.

Man Receives Letter Addressed to Mr. Shagslikeadonkey
Nick Mann, 44, had gotten a letter from Prudential concerning homeowners insurance. However, the name on the letter sounds more like something out of an Austin Powers movie.
"Dear Mr. Shagslikeadonkey: Moving your home insurance to Prudential could save about 80 pounds...." The letter was signed by Prudential's marketing chief Andy Lucas.

Gadget Turns German Men Into "Sitzpinkler"
A new gadget that scolds men who pee standing up is all the rage in Germany.
The WC ghost scolds men into sitting down to pee when the toilet seat is lifted. In Germany, the voice can sound like either Gerhard Schroeder or Helmut Kohl. In the UK, it planned to sound like Tony Blair or The Queen. In the US, a drawl is used.
1.8 million WC ghosts have been bought so far in Germany alone. Men who sit down to pee are considered to be a wimp, or "Sitzpinkler".

South Carolina Postcard Pictured With Georgia Fountain
The Cracker Barrel restaurants in Columbia, South Carolina carry postcards saying "Greetings From Columbia" with a picture of a fountain in the background. Only one problem though..the fountain isn't found in South Carolina, but in Savannah, Georgia.

Chilean man's hotel protest
A Chilean man dangled himself from a balcony on the 20th floor of a Miami hotel to protest against local discrimination against tourists.
The man, who wasn't identified, carried out his protest at the JW Marriott hotel on the city's Brickell Avenue.
