A solid-gold and gem-encrusted 4.8 million dollar toilet has been flushed from Hong Kong's tourism maps after staff at the jewellery store that made it were rude to customers, officials said.

Shannon Scavotto was running late for work when he opened the toilet to throw out a tissue. Inside was a snake as thick as a child's wrist, its diamond-shaped head sticking 10 inches out of the toilet.

A BIZARRE ceremony was held in High Wycombe as students paid their last respects to a dead squirrel.
The funeral at Buckinghamshire Chiltern University College campus, in Queen Alexandra Road, on Wednesday, was organised by June Kingsbury, an MA student studying ceramics and glass.

Man can blow up balloon using his ears
A Chinese man can blow up balloons and blow out candles with his ears. Wei Mingtang, 55, a factory worker from Guilin city, Guangxi province, discovered his ears leaked air over 30 years ago reports Nanguo Morning News.
He then came up with the idea of using them to inflate balloons with the aid of a pipe.

Couples started gathering along a Manila bayside boulevard Saturday evening for a pre-Valentine's Day kissing festival, with organizers hoping a million couples will lock lips nationwide.

Indonesia mulls ban on kissing in public
Indonesia's government is considering a law banning unwed couples from pecking in public -and harshly penalizing those who do, the Jakarta Post reported Saturday.
The campaign against kissing is part of a proposal of sweeping reforms to laws adopted by the country's Dutch colonial rulers in the late 19th century.

Plane Skids Off Runway, Crashes in N.J.
A corporate jet hurtled off the end of an airport runway Wednesday while attempting to take off, speeding across a highway and striking two cars before slamming into a warehouse. About 15 people were injured, one critically, but nobody was killed, officials said.
