RFID Implant
Well, the RFID chip is finally in. Now it's time to get on with buying a house that I can deck out with RFID sensors. But, probably before I get a chance to do that, I'm going to put a sensor in my car door. One small step for hand, one giant leap for keyless entry. Another thing I'm going to work on is figuring out how to write a custom GINA for Windows and putting a sensor into my keyboard so when I place my hands on it, the system will automatically log me in.

Flaming Object Seen In Night Sky
A bright object was seen falling over the night sky across the Pacific Northwest, at about 7:45 p.m. Pacific time. Eyewitnesses from as far south as Northern California and as far north as Vancouver, British Columbia reported seeing the object falling in the western sky.
“The object began as a small white dot roughly the brightness of a planet, and quickly became a brilliant blue-green color with a long spark-like tail of yellow specks. From my vantage in Southeast Portland, Oregon it moved roughly from south to north and at a 45-degree angle downwards through the sky. I also saw two flashes of white light as the object disappeared behind the hills on the west bank of the Willamette River,” reported Wikinews contributor Buckwad.

Luxury Hotel Opens at Hitler's Alpine Retreat
When Adolf Hitler first encountered the breathtaking mountain scenery and lofty isolation of Obersalzberg in the Bavarian Alps, he fell instantly in love with the spot.
Later as German leader he sealed off the hamlet, creating an exclusive retreat where he and other top Nazis could wine and dine, savor the crisp Alpine air, and plan the most barbarous acts of the Third Reich.
Sixty years on, the owners of a new luxury hotel in Obersalzberg, which opens this week, are hoping the area's serene natural charm can attract a different kind of visitor and open a new chapter in the area's blighted history.
