Viva Border Volleyball!
California’s most desolate and unknown beach is desolate and unknown for a reason. It has no name, no facilities, no parking lot. There are no signs for it inside Borderfield State Park. There are no signs for the park either. To get there, you depart the 5 freeway 10 miles south of San Diego, follow the roads to where the gas stations give way to horse stables, get lost in the overgrowth and streams of the Tijuana River delta, and from there walk the dirt road two miles through coastal dunes to emerge at the Pacific.

Dortmund, one of 12 cities to host World Cup matches, is anxious to keep prostitutes and their clients off the streets by providing them with discreet places to do business.
Experts estimate as many as 40,000 prostitutes may travel to Germany to offer their services to fans during the tournament.

All's swell that ends well Surfing's biggest names, waves crest at right time
The eroded bone of a half moon hung low in the western sky, a big blue swell jutted up out of the Pacific. French 'Spiderman' climbs 59-storey office building with bare hands
A French urban climber who calls himself "Spiderman" scaled a 59-storey Paris office building Wednesday with his bare hands and without using any ropes.
Alain Robert took less than 45 minutes to climb the 213-metre-tall Montparnasse Tower building, gripping the metal girders on his way up. At the top, he waved to a small crowd that gathered on the ground, some shouting "Allez, Alain!", or "Go, Alain!"
