Dildo Delay at Hockey Game
Yes, you read that title correctly. An Ice Hockey game in Sweden’s second-tier professional league was delayed several times due to the fans littering the ice with dildos. The organized taunting of an opposing player also included banners and a large inflatable penis. Ahead of Tuesday’s match against Leksand, the website for AIK’s unofficial supporter group had instructed fans to bring dildos to the match to remind defenseman Jan Huokko of the sex scandal which plagued him earlier in the year.

The hunt for the 100kph skateboarder
Police in Germany are trying to track down a man filmed riding a skateboard down a steep stretch of motorway at 62 mph.
They believe the man, who raced down the Ulm-Stuttgart motorway at speeds up to 100kph (62mph) - far above the speed limit - for two miles before he stopped and fled, was a professional stuntman, Goeppingen police spokesman Uli Stoeckle said.

Sex and the Olympic city
Tomorrow night thousands of young men and women with the most fit, toned bodies in the world will mingle for the last time before they fly home. What might they get up to?
I am often asked if the Olympic village - the vast restaurant and housing conglomeration that hosts the world's top athletes for the duration of the Games - is the sex-fest it is cracked up to be. My answer is always the same: too right it is. I played my first Games in Barcelona in 1992 and got laid more often in those two and a half weeks than in the rest of my life up to that point. That is to say twice, which may not sound a lot, but for a 21-year-old undergraduate with crooked teeth, it was a minor miracle.

Journalisten kritisieren Bespitzelung

Pirating the Olympics, Then and Now
Back in 2004, I wrote about how high-quality videos from the Olympics in Athens were being digitized and posted online, in defiance of the networks and the IOC's rules.
At the time, NBC's online coverage was pioneering, but still restrictive by today's standards — mostly highlight clips and no live video, delayed until after the events aired on TV, and required a valid credit card to verify residency in the United States.

Whistles, horns, radios, walkie-talkies, speakers, drums, sticks, or sharp objects that may be harmful are also not permitted.
