Russian governor reportedly assassinated
The governor of Russia's Far Eastern region of Magadan was assassinated Friday morning on a busy central Moscow street, the capital's police service said. Valentin Tsvetkov, 54, was fatally shot near the Magadan region's permanent Moscow office on Novy Arbat, not far from the Kremlin, during early morning rush hour, Moscow police said.

Noelle Bush Handcuffed, Sentenced To 10 Days In Jail
Gov. Jeb Bush's only daughter was led away in handcuffs Thursday after a judge sentenced her to 10 days in jail for violating the terms of her drug treatment program.
"I sincerely apologize for what happened and promise to do well at the Center for Drug-Free Living,'' Bush said, referring to the treatment center where she has been staying.
