Bush's latest headache: his twins
America's first family has its share of parenting headaches with George Bush's twin daughters acting out their resentment at his chosen career with underage drinking binges and other escapades, excerpts from a new book published yesterday said.
Mr Bush's twins, Jenna and Barbara, now 22 and in their final year of college, are described as over-indulged with no interest in the presidency in The Perfect Wife: The Life and Choices of Laura Bush by Ann Gerhart, a Washington Post journalist.

It's called "Governator" beer -- and Portland Brewing Co. CEO Jerome Chicvara says he was surprised that no California brewer thought of it first.
The brewing veteran says the 3,200 cases bearing the Pumping Iron label are a humorous tribute to the 38th governor of California, "Terminator" actor Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Schwarzenegger Inspires `Governator' Beer
Arnold Scwarzenegger isn't the first actor to become governor of California -- but he's probably the first California governor to have a beer brewed in his honor.
The so-called "Governator Ale" made by Portland, Oregon-based Pumping Iron Brewing Company, has just gone on sale in California, coming in a 22-ounce bottle with a label depicting a pumped up man flexing his back muscles "a la" Arnold.
It's called "Governator" beer -- and Portland Brewing Co. CEO Jerome Chicvara says he was surprised that no California brewer thought of it first.

Die Eingabe der Formulierung "miserable failure", die im Deutschen die Bedeutung "erbärmlicher Versager" hat, bringt bei der Suchmaschine Google Erstaunliches zutage. Auf Platz eins findet sich die Biografie des amtierenden US- Präsidenten, George W. Bush. In dem von Google ausgewählten Dokument sind jedoch weder die Wörter "miserable" oder "failure" noch andere Begriffe enthalten, die eine Suchmaschine dazu veranlassen könnten, eine eigene Interpretation der Biografie zu erstellen.

Die einen widmen ihm Bücher, die anderen wollen ihm mitten im Grazer Stadtpark ein monumentales Denkmal schaffen - die Rede ist vom wohl berühmtesten Steirer der Welt, Arnold Schwarzenegger. Das "Terminator"-Denkmal ist nun durch Schwarzeneggers politische Karriere wieder ins Gespräch gekommen.
