Murder Victim Flushed Down Toilet
Blood seeping out of a bathtub and toilet led police to a grisly murder last Thursday. They arrested two men in an upstairs apartment on suspicion of killing a woman during a drunken argument, dismembering her body and flushing the remains down a toilet.

Woman Takes Ride With Alligator on Lap
Police stopped a car on the Schuylkill Expressway for an unsual infraction: alligator possession within city limits. An off-duty police officer called police when he spotted the alligator poking its nose out the window of a black BMW, Inspector William Colarulo said Tuesday.

Man's Body Lies Undisturbed for 20 Years
The decomposed body of a man dressed in pajamas was discovered in an abandoned Tokyo apartment building 20 years after he is believed to have died, police said Thursday.
The morning edition of a newspaper dated Feb. 20, 1984 was on a table nearby and a calendar, opened to the same month, hung on the wall, said the official, who refused to be identified.

Worker Dressed As Devil Saves Teenager
Pereira, who works as a devil in the "Ghost House" at the Groena Lund amusement park in Stockholm, had stepped out of the attraction Wednesday and saw the 16-year-old boy holding tight to the gondola. He had somehow fallen out of the passenger compartment and was hanging 30 feet above the ground.

Penis severed in domestic quarrel
A woman who cut off her husband's penis with a breadknife during a row was then stabbed to death by her partner.
The 37-year-old man, reportedly of Ghanaian origin, then had his severed organ sewn back on in hospital.

Pig's Blood Spill On German Highway Causes Crash, Traffic Jams
A truck carrying 9,000 gallons of pig's blood was rear-ended and spilled its entire cargo on the German autobahn Wednesday, forcing the highway to close for several hours.
The truck hauling the waste blood from the Netherlands for disposal was pulling onto the autobahn near Sittensen at about 4:15 a.m. from a rest stop when it was rear-ended by another truck, police spokesman Klaus-Dieter Kroll said.

An armed siege which began after a man broke into a former nuclear bunker in Fife has entered its second day.
Firearms officers and negotiators were called to Scotland's Secret Bunker near Anstruther, which is now a Cold War museum, at about 0130 BST on Tuesday.

'Sleepy' man left legless by train
A 49-year-old man was left legless after being run over by a train in Pretoria on Tuesday night, police said.
Inspector Percy Morokane said the man, who was identified only as J Sibanyoni, had been travelling from Pretoria to Mamelodi about 7pm.

Deputy shot in leg during search: Fellow deputy accidentally fired
A Kandiyohi County sheriff’s deputy was accidentally shot in the leg Tuesday while executing a “high-risk” search warrant in Swift Falls.
Deputy Mike Roe was taken by ambulance to the Benson Hospital where he was airlifted to North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale.
