Man To Face Kidnap Charges After Radio Hoax
A 23-year-old South Philadelphia man has been ordered held for trial on charges he kidnapped and sexually assaulted a teenager after hijacking the phone lines of radio station Q102 back in January.
At a hearing on Friday, a 17-year-old woman testified she called the station and was told she had won $1,000 and tickets to see Brittany Spears.

Post entdeckt fünf mumifizierte Schädel in Paket
Offenbar sind peruanische Postbeamte Grabräubern auf die Schliche gekommen. Laut der Post hätten sich in einem Päckchen insgesamt fünf mumifizierte Schädel befunden, welche rund 2.700 Jahre alt sein dürften und aus der Paracas-Epoche stammen würden.

'Diebes-Schule' von Polizei geschlossen
In Delhi wurde von zwei 'Schuldirektoren' eine 'Diebes-Schule' unterhalten. Etwa 50 elf bis 15 Jahre alte Jungen ging hier zu einem geregelten Unterricht. Sie wurden im Taschen- und Handydiebstahl unterrichtet.

School food fight escalates into 'riot '- teachers
A girl dumped a fruit cup over a boy's head during lunch at Waterbury, Connecticut's West Side Middle School on June 9. It all went downhill from there, with the two getting into a fight that inspired some kids to stand on tables and throw food.
Two teachers and a detective were injured in the food-fight/riot. They were trying to break up the fight.

Slow drunk driver caught by policeman on bike
A drunken motorist was driving so slowly a policeman on a bicycle was able to keep up with him, Levin District Court was told.
Sione Fatuimoana Vai, 42, unemployed, of Levin, pleaded guilty to two charges of driving with excess breath-alcohol. He had five previous convictions.

Ein 16-jähriger Jugendlicher ist am Donnerstagabend mit einem 22 Tonnen schweren Kettenbagger Amok gefahren. Ein kurzes Stück legte der alkoholkranke Schüler auch auf der Autobahn zurück.

Ex-cable guy accused of 10,000 hookup thefts
Des Moines police say a former cable television installer is responsible for more than 10,000 illegal hookups in the city over the past 15 years.
Luqman Abdul-Aziz, 58, allegedly charged $80 to $100 per hookup. The initial fee covered customers for six months, sometimes longer, police said. Many were then asked to pay more.

New Delhi police busted a gang of thieves last week and unwittingly unearthed a "school" which taught young boys the art of picking pockets and snatching cellphones, a report said on Friday.
Located in south Delhi, the school was run by two Sri Lankans who had arrived in the Indian capital 20 years ago, the Hindustan Times reported.

Chinese waiters use customer's card to buy cellphones while he waits
They can probably forget about a tip.
A pair of Shanghai waiters were arrested after taking off with a customer's credit card and using it to buy mobile phones while he sat in their restaurant, the Shanghai Daily reported Friday. The diner, identified only by his surname, Zhu, had paid for lunch and was waiting for a receipt when the credit card company called. Had he just spent 25,000 yuan ($4,100 Cdn) on new cell phones? Waiters Ling Hong and Wang Luole were arrested soon afterward and charged with theft, the paper said.

Druids chant to help vandal hunt
Druids have held chanting ceremonies in a bid to catch vandals who defaced an ancient stone circle.
They are confident their efforts will help reveal the identity of the culprits who painted the Rollright Stones on the Oxfordshire/Warwickshire border.
