Texas D.J. arrested for on-air prank
Austin Texas: Dan Chappell, who goes by the on-air nickname "Lunchbox" apparently bit off more than he can chew. Dan was arrested for making terroristic threats by walking into a convenience store wearing a ski mask to buy a pack of gum.

Catching Some ZZZZ's: Burglar Arrested in Home
Police say Eric Palmer was arrested after he apparently fell asleep in the garage of a home he was trying to burglarize. A health care worker who worked at the house reported seeing a suspicious person in the garage and called police.

Arrest me "for being stupid"
Early in the morning of July 6th, Patrick McCarty allegedly told police he wanted to be arrested "for being stupid". When police told him being stupid wasn't a crime, he led police back to his marijuana and drug paraphenalia.
McCarty is being held in custody on drug charges in lieu of $10,000 bail.

Bande sperrt Zahlungsunwilligen in einen Affenkäfig
Zwei Männer hatten mit einer Erbschaft in einem Wettbüro im oberösterreichischen Linz geprahlt. Dies geriet ihnen zum Verhängnis, als sich Ganoven auch für das Erbe 'interessierten' und sie an eine dubiose Wettszenerie in Wien weiterempfahlen.
Dort versprach man ihnen eine lukrative Vermehrung der Erbschaft. Als ihnen das Spielsystem verdächtig nach Betrug vorkam, wollten sie aussteigen. Die Bande zeigten daraufhin ihr wahres Gesicht. Sie sperrten einen der beiden in einen Affenkäfig.

Girl steals money and offers it to strangers
A nine-year-old girl stole $6200 and then wandered down a Lower Hutt street offering $100 bills to strangers.
No one took her up on her offer, but one man rang police who caught up with her in High Street, near the Hutt hospital, about 8pm on Monday.
