Minnesota officials seek stolen ice house
The search is on for a stolen ice house, and it's a really nice one as these things go. Authorities in Waseca County are on the lookout for the $4,000 house built for ice fishing that went missing from Clear Lake on Wednesday.
"This is the first I can recall happening in many years around here," said Chief Deputy Brad Milbrath of the Waseca County Sheriff's Office. Wascea is about 60 miles south of Minneapolis.

Would-be Thieves blow torch loot
A local gang of thieves thought they had a sure fire way to rob an ATM machine, blow torch it. Unfortunatly for them, the entire ATM machine went up in flames and took the cash with it.

Garmet filled with $24,783 in Cash Accidentally Given Away
After a string of break-ins in her neighborhood, a 77-year-old Japanese woman sewed $24,783 in cash (Y2 million) into her kimono sash to keep it safe from further thefts. She then accidentally donated the garment to a local recycling group.

An electronic voting machine in Ohio has awarded President Bush with 3,893 extra votes. President Bush received 4,258 votes, while Democratic hopeful John Kerry received 260. Records show only 638 voters cast ballots in that precinct.

Man shoots girlfriend instead of mouse
A US man has accidentally shot his girlfriend in the arm while trying to kill a mouse at his home.
Donald Rugg, 43, noticed a mouse in his house and fired a single shot with his gun, hitting his girlfriend Cathy Jo Harris, 35, who had walked into the bullet's path.
