Haftbefehl-Posse um WikiLeaks-Chef
Mysteriöse Vorgänge rund um WikiLeaks-Gründer Julian Assange haben am Samstag stundenlang für Aufregung gesorgt: Die Stockholmer Staatsanwaltschaft hatte am Vorabend wegen angeblicher Vergewaltigungsvorwürfe Haftbefehl gegen Assange verhängt - um diesen nicht einmal 24 Stunden später wieder aufzuheben.
Kein Grund zu Verdacht mehr Haftbefehl gegen Assange aufgehoben

What a police car wrapped around Superman might look like
The word "miraculous" scarcely describes the survival of a Santa Maria, California police officer who wrapped his Ford Police Interceptor around a tree Sunday morning. It's what the local Police Chief calls the "worst accident he's seen in 35 years."
Sunday was a busy day for the members of the Santa Maria Police Department, starting with a police chase that resulted in a stolen car crashing into a first grade classroom of a local school. But that's not where this amazing crash happened.

Polizisten raubten aus Frust
Zwei Bundesbeamte haben ab Dezember des Jahres 2009 mehrfach Vietnamesen angegriffen und ihnen Geld abgenommen. Ende Februar wurden die Polizisten festgenommen. Der Richter machte kein Hehl aus seiner Fassungslosigkeit beim Lesen der Anklage.

German bank robbers use too much explosive
No one was hurt in the explosion overnight in the village near Schwerin in northern Germany but flying debris damaged nearby buildings and parked cars and 55 firemen were needed to make the area safe.

Zwei Briten wurden beim Download des bekannten 'Anarchist's Cookbook' ertappt, wodurch ihre terroristischen Absichten auffielen.
Gestern erging in Großbritannien das erste Urteil gegen zwei Männer, die durch den Download der als 'Anarchist's Cookbook' bekannten Datensammlung aufgefallen waren. Einer der beiden hatte das Werk auch zum weiteren Download angeboten. Beim 'Anarchist's Cookbook' handelt es sich um eine Zusammenstellung verschiedener Anleitungen zur Herstellung von Giften, zum Bombenbau und ähnlichem.
