Wer fälscht das schönste UFO?
'DOCMA' ist ein Fachmagazin für Digitalfotografie. Die Verantwortlichen der Zeitschrift starteten nun einen Wettbewerb, den sie 'UFO-Trickser-Wettbewerb' benannten. Gesucht wird die gelungenste Aufnahme einer UFO-Darstellung.
Das fertige Bild soll die Betrachter davon überzeugen, dass es diese Situation tatsächlich gegeben haben könnte.', lautet die Herausforderung an Freunde der Digitalfotografie und deren Nachbearbeitung.

Canon Digital Rebel Hacked Into A Pseudo-10D
When Canon introduced the Digital Rebel, the world's first entry-level Digital SLR camera, many remarked on its similarities to the 10D , its $500 more expensive big brother. In fact, the two cameras share much of the same technology and so Canon implemented a number of software-based limitations to avoid destroying sales of the professional-oriented 10D. Now, a new hack that restores a previously hidden menu along with a few additional tricks has added nearly all of those 10D features to the Rebel, with an arguably superior user interface to boot.

Auf der Internetseite Findadeath.com sind vier Bilder von Prinzessin Diana veröffentlicht worden. Diese Internetseite zeigt prominente Tote. Veröffentlicht wurden dabei Schwarz-Weiß-Fotos, auf denen die Prinzessin kaum zu erkennen ist.

The internet is being flooded with pictures from the every day life of millions of camera phone users, but unfortunately many of the images that are taken using camera phones are poor in quality. This is partly due to the fact that camera phone technology is still developing and that their features are often limited (although this is changing) but it is also often due to poor photographic technique by budding camera phone photographers. As a result we've compiled this list of camera phone tips and techniques to help us get the best results from our camera phones.

Schon wieder ein Bilderstreit
Bezweifelt wird von Manchen, ob die Fotos, die die Misshandlung eines Irakers durch britische Soldaten zeigen, echt sind. Die Frage ist, ob das etwas ändern würde.
Immer wenn Fotos ins Spiel kommen und etwas belegen sollen, ist die Reaktion nicht weit, falls es sich um etwas Unerwünschtes handelt, dass sie nichts beweisen, weil sie sie leicht gefälscht werden können. Aber Fotos müssten eben gar nicht gefälscht sein, sie könnten auch nur eine gespielte Szene darstellen. Dann wären sie zwar authentisch, aber es käme ganz auf den Kontext an, um beurteilen zu können, was die Bilder zeigen. Bei den Fotos, die britische Soldaten zeigen, wie sie einen Gefangenen misshandeln, werden eben diese Bedenken geäußert.

Rare Photos
These are time-lapse photos of the recovery of the USS Cole. In the first photo, a transport ship is "flooded" to allow it underneath the disabled USS Cole. Cole was transported from Aden to Pascagoula by the Norwegian heavy transport ship M/V Blue Marlin.
