Carnivals, Festivals and Fairs of Missouri
Notley Hawkins (aka 10thavenue) has lived in Missouri his whole life. Born and raised in Columbia Missouri he studied painting and drawing at Columbia College with Sid Larson, a student of Thomas Hart Benton. He attended the University of Missouri in Columbia for his Masters degree and worked with noted artist and cartoonist Frank Stack. Notley also attended the prestigious Skowhegan School in Maine. His work is in many private collections as well as The State Historical Society of Missouri's collection.
