Valerie, a Domestic Android for only $59,000 and includes a 2 year warranty.
We have (tentatively) sold the first two androids!
We are now accepting orders for up to 4 complete and operational Valerie androids for delivery at Christmas of 2004.
Valerie is the most advanced android in the world having more degrees of freedom than any android shown up to now. She uses the AT&T speech synthesizer giving the most human-sounding voice available today. She is also easily the most anthropomorphic android available. She will have a high degree of artificial intelligence due to our proprietary AI software - and a generalized interface to the internet (the only existing super-intelligence).

Why I Hate University Students
Every now and then I am painfully reminded of the poor raw material that universities have to work with: lumpen, dough-faced high school graduates with a breadth of knowledge narrower than a plant custodian's and the self-awareness of an amateur rock musician (hint: you suck and will give up on all of your dreams within the next three years). The yearn to bitch and moan is there but an accompanying point isn't.

Burning Man, the Simulation
Every year, in the week leading up to Labor Day, 30,000 artists, musicians, clowns, Santas and other counterculturalists converge on Nevada's Black Rock Desert for the annual Burning Man festival.
To many of the people who attend the bacchanalia -- which takes place in the makeshift Black Rock City, replete with roads and complex infrastructure, full-scale pirate ships, 100-foot dragons, roving bunny slippers, 25-foot tall chandeliers fallen from the sky and people in costumery of all kinds -- there is no place like it on Earth. To the denizens of Black Rock City, this place, lovingly referred to as "the playa," is home.

the luminous toilet seat
The transparent toilet seat GALACTIKA is equipped with tiny ultra bright Chip-LED in 5 cols.: pole-white, sundance-yellow, scarlet-red, amparo-blue and emerald-green. The energy is supplied by 4 pcs. AA 1,5V batteries, that you find in an inconspicuous batterycase taped with a velcro at the backside of the closet or at the wall under the cistern. The real clou of the luminous toilet seat is the very tricky elektronic processor. When opening the cover the LED light will be dimmed on slowly and kindle their full power after 5 seconds.
