Die Hundsbuben aus der Steiermark
Zuerst hab ich das gelbe Zettelchen im Postkasten übersehen, dann ging das Promopackage an Pararecordings zurück und letztendlich habe ich es mir im Augarten abgeholt. Mit einiger Verspätung also sei hiermit Watersports angepriesen, der erste Longplayer der zweiköpfigen, steirischen Pop-Kombo Dogboy. Und genau wenn es um Pop in all seiner Breite, Billigheit und Schönheit geht, hat das Album seine besten Momente und Brian Eno winkt herüber. Zwischendurch gibt es auch einige weniger interessante Versuche in andere (welche eigentlich?) Gefilde. Also bitte weiterpoppen!

Musikspiele
Ein [fast] ausschließlich auf Konsolen vertretenes Genre sind Musikspiele. Interessierte Gamer bedürfen dafür eines gerüttelt Maß an Taktgefühl und Fingerfertigkeit, sowie ausreichender Kenntnisse der jeweiligen Tastenbelegung. Manche Spiele bieten auch Körperertüchtigung durch Einsatz einer Tanzmatte. Die futureZone hat sich drei Titel für Sonys PS2 angesehen.

Er schreibt ein ziemlich larmoyantes Online Tagebuch. Denn ihm fehlt der Experte für die genügende Härte (nach unten scrollen, aber woanders habe ich den Text nicht gefunden).

Our goal here is to provide you with the most complete vintage walkman & portable stereo information source anywhere. As trivial as the subject may be, we realize there's a following out there in search of information on the history, technology and collectibility of personal stereos and walkmans. The museum provides information on the birth and Golden Age (1979-1989) of these devices through photos, information and opinions.
We're proud of our effort, but realize this undertaking is far from complete. These handy little gadgets have been going strong for over twenty years! There are literally hundreds of models produced by dozens of manufacturers.

IBM SONGBOOK
An integral part of early IBM history was the enthusiasm of the IBM salesmen in their dark suits and white shirts who set out to sell to the world. They were the employees of The Tabulating Machine Company, The International Time Recording Company The Dayton Scale Company and The International Scale Company, all Divisions of International Business Machines. It seems incredible that in 1931 tribute was being payed to the loyalty of Mr Edward Canby for his 42 years of loyal service to the company.
Times have changed and their ways are not now our ways, what follows is meant as a sincere tribute to those IBM pioneers.
