Robbie signs '£80m' deal - Ugly ass singer signs UK's biggest record deal
Robbie Williams has signed what is believed to be an £80m contract with EMI Records in what could be the UK's biggest record deal. The deal for four albums, second only to Michael Jackson's in music history, was announced on Wednesday afternoon.

German Rock Group Charged With Hate Crimes
Three members of a German skinhead rock band have been charged with inciting violence and spreading hate through songs that attack Jews and foreigners, federal prosecutors said Monday. The group made albums abroad to get around German laws forbidding publication of neo-Nazi materials, and set up distribution channels built on "secrecy and conspiracy" to circulate the CDs in Germany's underground far-right music scene, prosecutors alleged. "The group's goal was to spread extreme-right beliefs among young people," prosecutors said.

Record Labels Seek OK for Online Music Sabotage
Frustrated by the continuing presence of free music on the Internet, the recording industry asked for Congress' blessing on Thursday to gum up the online networks they blame for slowing their sales. Congress is considering expanded legal protection for record labels who resort to sabotage in their ongoing battle with "peer to peer" networks that allow users to freely trade music, movies and other copyrighted material.
