MIB’s To Send Jackson’s Back Into Space
After years of constant debates on whether or not to allow the intergalactic outcasts "The Jackson Family" to stay on this planet, the Men In Black have finally decided it's best for them to go.
"Between Michael and Latoya alone we had enough reason to expel these aliens back into the cold & dark vastness of space, but we always felt sorry for their kind because they are all that is left of their whole race." said MIB Press Person L.

Michael Jackson Faces Cash Crisis
Michael Jackson is near insolvency as he continues to pile up debt, sapping his last credit reserves, several close financial advisers say.
Mr. Jackson faces an immediate cash crisis with a $70 million loan from the Bank of America that is due on Tuesday and has no money to repay it, the advisers said. But Al Malnik, a Miami entrepreneur who is helping repair Mr. Jackson's finances, said that he was trying to have the loan extended.

Janet Jackson Breast Cupcakes
I spent the past few days searching my soul for the answer. When my soul proved insufficient, I went to eGullet. When that failed, I searched my subject's lyrics archive for a clue.
The lyrics to "If" seemed to address my very plight: "Sittin over here / starin in your face [sub "breast"] / with lust [sub "culinary ambition"] in my eyes...don't know that I've been dreamin of ya in my fantasies."

Janet Jackson's breast lawsuit
It took almost three days, but the first lawsuit has been filed in connection with Janet Jackson's breast. A Tennessee woman yesterday filed a proposed class action "on behalf of all Americans" who watched the Super Bowl halftime show and were somehow injured by Miss Jackson's adorned nipple. In the below federal complaint, Terri Carlin, a 47-year-old Knoxville bank employee, contends that Jackson's exposure and other "sexually explicit conduct" during halftime festivities caused viewers to "suffer outrage, anger, embarrassment and serious injury.

The much-ballyhooed reunion of seminal alternative rock act the Pixies is getting off the ground. Nintendo Rocks! Meet the Minibosses,
a game-geek cover band trying to take it to the next level. It's a sweltering night in Phoenix, and I'm standing in a desolate industrial park, where neatly aligned warehouses fence in a rectangle of asphalt. The buildings echo with the sonic mess of a half-dozen practicing bands. Through one garage door comes a pretty, prog-rock melody of guitar notes. It's being played by the group I'm here to see: the Minibosses.

Musicians Looking To Let Internet Replace Record Cos
At least, that's the headline which Dow Jones ran for this story. Most everyone else who ran this AP story used the tamer headline: Musicians Unveil Digital 'Manifesto'.
But I suspect that Dow Jones got the basic premise correct: A highly respected and intelligent pair of innovative musicians are making a power grab on behalf of artists. They are taking advantage of the general chaos in the space, and the apparent cluelessness of the big labels vis-a-vis the internet.
