Tree Wave
Tree Wave consists of two members: Paul Slocum and Lauren Gray. To say Paul has an interest in 80s electronics is an understandment. He takes a Commodore 64, an Atari 2600 (as a synthcart and a sequencer), a Compaq Portable II, and an Epson LQ500 dot matrix printer which he reprogrammed as sound generators. Paul utilizes all of his creations to make a very interesting sound that blends nicely with Gray’s warm lush vocals. According to the band’s website, they are more influenced by guitar based bands than electronic bands.

Gallery Of The Forbidden
The exhibits in this GALLERY OF THE FORBIDDEN feature artifacts related to various historical censorship incidents. Many highlight a couple of often-overlooked aspects of censorship:
It is the packaging of musical products – rather than the "controversial" lyrical content within – that has often provided busybody “moral guardians” with the easiest avenue of attack against artists whose ideas (or existence) they object to.
And, it is the corporate music biz itself – rather than the traditional "usual suspects" (parents, preachers, principals, & police) – that does most of the "reining in" of today’s artists.

Im April 1954 nahm «Schmalzlocke» Bill Haley und seine Band The Comets «Rock Around The Clock» auf, die «Hymne des Teenage-Terrors», wie Zeitungen schrieben. Haley war nicht bewusst, dass er damit zum Pionier der weltgrössten Musik- und Jugendbewegung wurde.
Als «Musik gewordene Unmoral», als «gefährlichen erotischen Verführer von Halbwüchsigen», beschimpften Sittenwächter den Rock 'n' Roll. Aufhalten konnten sie die Bewegung nicht. Die Zeit war reif. Rock 'n' Roll fachte das Aufbegehren an, von den USA bis hinter den Eisernen Vorhang.

Bei Sandra Maischberger ging der Kampf der Musik-Titanen in die nächste Runde. Frank Farian warb für seine Abrechnung mit Dieter Bohlen, die am Samstag als Buch erscheinen soll. Seinen Kontrahenten nannte er "talentlos" - und kündigte Enthüllungen über angebliche Gewalttätigkeiten des "Superstar"-Juroren an.

Band Name Origins
Do you know why a band picked out it's name? Feel free to let us know.
I can't verify all of these stories, so do take them with a grain of salt. I try and delete the ones that I know to be bogus, but I don't know the origins of every band name (and some bands intentionally tell different stories about picking their band name).
