BRITNEY Spears seems ready to walk down the aisle again.
The pop tart, who just had to call off her Onyx Hotel Tour due to a bad knee injury, moved her dancer boyfriend, Kevin Federline, lock, stock and trucker hat into her New York and Beverly Hills homes after her arthroscopic surgery early last week. Now the buzz is that Federline has popped the question and Spears is said to have accepted his offer.

Lock-down CD scores No.1 hit
Although common in Japan and parts of Europe, lock down CDs have finally landed with a splash in the United States. Bertelsmann Music Group's fourteenth CD to feature the customer-unfriendly measure, Velvet Revolver's Contraband (no, this isn't Spinal Tap, although the group contains lots of old lags) has reached No.1 in the US chart.

Dolls reunion proves sage choice
The New York Dolls played a one-off reunion gig on Wednesday at London's Royal Festival Hall as part of this year's Meltdown Festival, curated by Morrissey.
Credited as precursors of punk and providing much of the attitude and musical spirit of the movement, it was no surprise that the foyer of the hall was abuzz with old punks, new punks and faded rock stars.

Pop's Jackson 'paid boy millions'
Pop star Michael Jackson agreed to pay a boy he was accused of molesting $15.3m (£8.5m) in 1993, it is reported.
According to legal documents, Mr Jackson did not admit misconduct but settled because the case could have harmed his career, US Court TV said.

Madonna has reportedly changed her name to Esther.
The singer was inspired to take on a new name by her study of Jewish mysticism known as Kabbalah.
Madonna is rarely seen out without Kabbalah's trademark red string bracelet.
