Beatles fixer and friend takes secrets to the grave
Neil Aspinall, who died yesterday aged 66, was one of only two people of any importance in the Beatles saga who never told their story. Which is strange, when you think we've had a thousand Beatles books these last 40 years, from people who never met them, to lawyers who did in passing, chauffeurs who once drove them and scruffs who stood outside their offices hoping for autographs.

Amy Winehouse buys a sunbed - but will it be enough to cure her scabby face?
Amy Winehouse was seen buying a brand new sunbed yesterday - but it will take more than that to fix her shocking skin.
The singer was seen leaving her Camden home with the two-pence coin-sized rash on her face, which her spokesperson previously described as "impetigo".
Impetigo is an infection of the skin caused by a bacteria which causes a blistered crusty rash.

Keith Richards: Amy is only singer I rate, but she won't be around for long unless she cleans up her act
Rolling Stone Keith Richards has revealed the only modern pop star he rates is troubled Amy Winehouse.
But the guitarist - famous for his huge consumption of illegal drugs - warned that Amy, who was pictured recently smoking crack, "wouldn't be around for long" unless she cleaned up her act.
The Stones' lead singer Mick Jagger also said Winehouse's music would suffer because of the time she spent dealing with the authorities over drugs.

Amy Winehouse makeover for the Grammys
Amy Winehouse has gone to great lengths to doll herself up for her performance for tonight’s Grammy Awards. She had applied for a visa to enter the US but was denied. The US Embassy reversed their decision and granted her one but Amy’s manager said that it was too late to get their logistics into motion. So Amy will perform via satellite instead.

Radiohead to webcast New Year gig
Radiohead will broadcast a performance of their new album In Rainbows on TV and the internet on New Year's Eve.

Fit To Burst! [mp3]
Fit to burst are a host of British comedians and comedy actors who all made records between 1959 and 1979. There was a tradition among British funny men (and women) to make records, not just replications of their act, but specially composed songs or comic covers of standards. Some are from singles others are album tracks. But I have opted for the more obscure. Some of these names may be familiar to you and need no introduction, others may not be so familiar.

Trent's Ten Favorite Albums From 2007 as of 12/1/2007
Man, Idunno about y'all guys, but this year has been a real tough one for me to get ahold of musically. So many great songs come at you that it's hard to grab them all and remember which ones you liked the best. But albums, well, albums are a different thing. You really have to concentrate on an album these days since there are all these single MP3s around to distract you. But what I did, and what I suggest you maybe do, is to get that CD player back in rotation. And get some CDs for it. CDs rule!
