Amputation instead of circumcision
The Mexican police arrested a surgeon who amputated the penis of his patient instead of circumcizing it. This incident of mutilation happened in one of the state clinics of the town of Tijuana.
A man went to an appointment with Doctor Francisco Javier Valentin y Ortiz with a request to perform a circumcision. The doctor agreed to such a simple operation, but instead of removing the foreskin, the surgeon cut off a very large part of the man's penis.
The furious patient went to police, and Ortiz was arrested. As it turned out, the doctor was licensed to practice general surgery only; his qualifications did not allow him to perform the circumcision, since it requires specific knowledge in the field of urology. Now, the surgeon is facing charges of unintentional bodily injury, medical negligence, and performing an unlicensed operation.

Krokodile zerreissen lebensmüde Frau
BANGKOK (Thailand) – Sie hatte Probleme mit ihrem Mann und beschloss, ihrem Leben ein grausiges Ende zu setzen: Vor den Augen hunderter Zuschauer sprang eine 40-jährige Thailänderin in eine Krokodil-Zuchtanlage.
Wie ein Augenzeuge am Sonntag berichtete, überwand die Frau den zwei Meter hohen Zaun der Krokodilzuchtanlage Famut Prakarn am Stadtrand von Bangkok. Sie sprang zu den über 100 lauernden Krokodilen herab. Die Tiere warteten nicht lange: Ein Krokodil packte die Frau und zerrte sie in den Teich.
Entsetzlich: Die Frau gab keine Schmerzenslaute von sich, als die Tiere zuschnappten und sie zerrissen. Nach Augenzeugenberichten ging alles so schnell, dass niemand der mehr habe eingreifen können. Die Krokodilfarm ist ein beliebtes touristisches Ausflugsziel in Bangkok.
Die lebensmüde Frau hinterliess einen Abschiedsbrief. Dort beklagte sie sich über ihren Mann beklagte und bat die Familie um Entschuldigung.
