McDonald's food advert banned
A commercial for a McDonald's steak sandwich has been banned by television watchdogs for being misleading.
The sandwich looked better in the advert than in real life, said the Independent Television Commission (ITC), after investigating several customer complaints.
ITC staff tested several sandwiches and ruled that they contained less filling than the one in the commercial.
The fast food chain said it was "disappointed" with the ITC's decision.

McDonald's Hasn't Switched To Healthy Oil Yet
If you've been eating McDonald's french fries because they were going to switch to the healthier oil, don't stop counting the calories just yet. McDonald's says it's put plans to switch cooking oil on hold. It wants to better analyze and review the new oil before making the change.

KGB Unveils UFO Secrets?
The last issues of the Russian newspaper Komsomolskaya Pravda (February 5-12) published a series of five articles under a loud headline “KGB Unveiled UFO Secrets”. These publications are based upon materials of a so-called “blue file” that the KGB once compiled concerning activity of Russian ufologists. However, the newspaper unveiled no secrets at all: the publications mentioned just several instances when UFOs were registered over Soviet military objects. What do these KGB documents testify to? Do extraterrestrials actually exist? Or, is it possible that the truth is more prosaic? Researcher from the Russian city of Krasnoyarsk Pavel Poluyan tells about it.
