Die Wissenschaftler haben Automatisches Theorembeweisen eingesetzt , eine Technik , die bis heute vor allem für mathematische Fragestellungen verwendet wurde. Vatikanbank braucht neue Köpfe
Die Vatikanbank steckt tief im Korruptionssumpf. Wenige Tage nach dem Bekanntwerden neuer Vorwürfe sind jetzt der Direktor sowie dessen Vize zurückgetreten. Der deutsche Präsident der Vatikanbank soll die Aufgaben übergangsweise mit übernehmen.
Genau vor einem Jahr hatte der Generaldirektor der Vatikanbank, Paolo Cipriani, noch zu einem Tag der Offenen Tür eingeladen. Das Signal war klar: Wir haben nichts zu verbergen.

Vatican bank promises sweeping change as senior staff resign
Sweeping changes at the top of the Vatican's scandal-ridden bank were announced on Monday night following the arrest of a senior church official in the latest of a string of scandals to have hit the institution.
The bank's recently appointed president, Ernst von Freyberg, said its two top officials – the director and deputy director – had both resigned. He thanked them for their "personal dedication" but added: "It is clear today that we need new leadership."

Vatican Official Arrested Over $26 Million Scheme
Sica said Scarano was a middleman in the Swiss operation. Friends had asked him to intervene with a broker, Giovanni Carenzio, to return 20 million euros they had given him to invest. Sica said Scarano persuaded Carenzio to return the money, and an Italian secret service agent, Giovanni Maria Zito, went to Switzerland to bring the cash back aboard an Italian government aircraft. Such a move would presumably prevent any reporting of the money coming into Italy.

The Shady Past of the Vatican Bank
Whereas Benedict XVI and his predecessors have preached humility and ethical financial dealings from the window overlooking St. Peter's Square, his confidants working directly beneath the papal windows have continued to pursue shady financial transactions.
The Vatican has yet to divulge the business practices its bank has been using for decades. "There is fear that, owing to the transparency necessary today, one will find something in the past that one doesn't want to," says Marco Politi, a Rome-based Vatican expert.

A new scandal threatens to engulf the Catholic Church and this time the focus is money. Senior Vatican officials are battling over the future of the Vatican bank. While some would like total transparency, dubious transactions from the past and present could harm the Church's image.
The Vatican scandal over shady bank accounts and millions in suspect transfers began shortly before sunrise on June 5 on Via Giuseppe Verdi, a picturesque street in the old part of Piacenza, a town in northeastern Italy. An elderly gentleman in a tailor-made suit had just left his house with a leather briefcase dangling from his right hand. He was on his way to his car.

Der österreichische Ableger der Hackergruppierung Anonymous hat am vergangenen Samstag nach eigenen Angaben die interne E-Mail-Korrespondenz von Scientology Österreich aus den Jahren 2010 und 2011 veröffentlicht. Das gab die Gruppierung per Twitter bekannt. Darin wird auf eine Seite bei Pastebin verwiesen, wo die Links zu herunterladbaren Paketen mit einer Gesamtgröße von rund 2,8 GByte veröffentlicht wurden.

Wenn es um männliche Initiationsriten geht, kennt der steirische Brauch neuerdings auch recht schlüpfrige Varianten. Als Ergebnis einer Schwerpunktaktion der Polizei in Sachen Jugendschutzgesetz notierten zu Wochenbeginn erhebende Beamte, dass immer wieder steirische Kinder, die in diesen Tagen vom örtlichen Pfarrer das Sakrament der Firmung empfangen, für diesen kirchlichen Anlass höchst weltlich beschenkt werden: mit einem Bordellbesuch.

In der bischöflichen Kanzlei der Diözese Graz-Seckau wollte man die Kunde der ausschweifenden Firmkultur erst gar nicht glauben. Bischof Egon Kapellari ließ schließlich ausrichten, die katholische Kirche in der Steiermark sei "der größte Anbieter von Sexualitätsworkshops, wo unter dem Motto 'Zeit der Zärtlichkeit' Jugendliche einen verantwortungsvollen Umgang mit ihrer sexuellen Kraft kennenlernen". Bordellbesuche generell und schon gar als Firmgeschenk entsprächen "weder dem christlichen Menschenbild, noch werden sie den Bedürfnissen von Jugendlichen gerecht".

In den Niederlanden soll die katholische Kirche die Kastration von zehn Buben verantwortet haben. Die Fälle finden sich nicht im Bericht über die Missbrauchsfälle wieder - was nun Konsequenzen hat.
Amsterdam/Wien - Zehn Buben soll die niederländische katholische Kirche in den Fünfzigerjahren kastrieren haben lassen. Einer davon war Henk H., der fast sein ganzes Leben in Heimen verbracht hatte, bis er mit Anfang 20 bei einem Verkehrsunfall ums Leben kam. Er hatte als Bub im Jahr 1956 Geistliche wegen sexuellen Missbrauchs angezeigt, kurz danach wurde er in ein Spital im niederländischen Veghel eingeliefert und kastriert.

Australia's 'child labour camp' - Scientology
In the middle of suburban Australia is a secret compound that's labelled 'degrading' and 'inhumane', with allegations of keeping children prisoner.
Right in the middle of a quiet suburb is a place where children are separated from their parents, and forced to work full time for no pay, and live in squalid conditions.
Those who've survived this place say they were brainwashed into believing they could not leave, and that they deserved the shocking treatment dished out.
A young man who escaped the place with the help of his father, Shane Kelsey says “I lived in that garage for about a year and a half, maybe two years.”
