Craig "Hot Lixx Hulahan" Billmeier (US) crushed the opponents with his polished performance at the Air Guitar World Championships Grand Final on Friday 22 August in Oulu, Finland. The two-year-reigning Air Guitar, Ochi "Dainoji" Yosuke (JP), had to give in to the overwhelming new Champion. Hot Lixx Hulahan scored highest on the First Round, and on the Second Round defeated his strongest opponent, Andel "John Sniffler" Soreen (NL), with his impeccable timing and an overall solid performance that took the audience by storm.

Die flinke finnische Fingershow
Wer ist der leidenschaftlichste Luftgitarren-Virtuose? Im finnländischen Oulu traten 20 der weltbesten Luftgitarristen gegeneinander um den Weltmeistertitel an. Die Kunst beginnt schon bei der Namensgebung.
Für die meisten ist es nur heiße Luft, für "Hot Lixx Hulahan", Ochi "Dainoji" Yosuke und "Heart Buckboard" Sweep ein gnadenloses Ringen um die Weltmeisterschaft: Am Wochenende fand im finnischen Oulu die 13. Luftgitarren-WM statt, die Air Guitar World Championships.

Die Infocom Gallery ist eine Sammlung mit HighRes-Scans des Packagings, der Anleitungen und Karten (fast) aller Infocom-Games, natürlich inklusive „Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy“ und „Zork“. Interessantes Detail: die beigelegten Illustrationen und Goodies dienten als Low-Tech-Kopierschutz, da die Spiele oft nur mit Infos aus den Dingern gelöst werden konnten.

Yes, it does back flips. It is a Eurocopter BO-105 CBS 4 Twin engine helicopter. Stock model with a Rigid Rotor system, the fixed rotor is why it can do aerobatics.
