Frau rasselt 771 Mal durch Führerscheinprüfung
Jetzt scheint es auch schon egal: Obwohl sie schon 771 Mal durch die schriftliche Fahrprüfung gerasselt ist, hat eine Südkoreanerin das Projekt Führerschein weiter im Blick. Die 68-Jährige habe in Jeonju im Südwesten des Landes seit 2005 fast an jedem Werktag eine Prüfung absolviert, dabei aber nie die nötige Punktzahl erreicht, sagte der für die Auswertung zuständige Polizist Choi Yong-Cheol. Am vergangenen Montag sei sie zum 771. Mal durchgefallen.

Leuchtende Venus löst Ufo-Alarm aus
Trugbild oder Außerirdische? An diesem Wochenende gingen bei der Polizei zahlreiche Ufo-Meldungen ein. Vor allem ein heller Punkt unterhalb des Mondes irritierte einige Bürger. Doch die Himmelserscheinungen haben eine einfache Erklärung.
Die Polizei ging dem Hinweis des Bürgers nach und lieferte für die aktuellen Phänomene am Nachthimmel gleich mehrere Erklärungen: Der Mond zeige sich derzeit am Abendhimmel ein wenig oberhalb der hell erleuchteten Venus.

If you think that living in Penistone is tough, imagine if you live on a street named Butts Wynd (yes, a real one in St. Andrews, Scotland) or Dingleberry Road (in Iowa City, Iowa). This one to the left, Psycho Path (someone has a sense of humor) is in Traverse City, Michigan.

MAD Magazine Going Quarterly
"MAD Magazine is about to put out its 500th issue, but starting with its April publication, the mag is cutting down to only four issues per year. The feedback we've gotten from readers,' quipped Editor John Ficarra, 'is that only every third issue of MAD is funny, so we've decided to just publish those.' MAD Kids and MAD Classics are ceasing publication entirely. Keep up the what-me-worry game face, Alfred. Nooooo!

UFO wind turbine prang site: Exclusive photos
The recent Conisholme wind farm incident - in which one turbine shed a blade in highly mysterious circumstances - provoked a level of black helicopter activity not seen since NASA faked the 1969 Moon landing, with many suggesting extraterrestrial involvement.
Well, we at El Reg have spent some time analysing a satellite image of the site on the morning following the prang, with remarkable results. Here's the original picture:
