Where will the music and the expo take place? The expo will take place at Amsterdam Roest, doubling last year’s Expo trade show space. The Historic Roest is located near Central Station in downtown Amsterdam. Night time concerts @ Melkweg.

Silk Road: four suspected sellers of illegal drugs arrested in Britain


The new National Crime Agency (NCA) is investigating UK suspects over the online illegal drugs marketplace Silk Road.

Four men were arrested last week over their alleged role in the online marketplace, hours after the suspected creator of the site was arrested in the US, the NCA said, and other UK suspects were likely to be held in the coming weeks.

Treatment with marijuana became legal in Romania


Marijuana can be used by cancer patients to relieve pain, and today is done tests for Parkinson Alzhemeir or Tourette syndrome.

Drug trafficker killed by his own 500kg cargo of weed after it crushed him to death when he crashed car following police chase


A Brazilian drugs trafficker was killed by his own stock when he was crushed by half a ton of marijuana.

The man died after he lost control of his car and hit a tree, resulting in his stock of weed stored in the backseat shooting forward, squashing him against the wheel.

The driver was on the run from the Federal Highway police, who had taken up the chase after the smuggler refused to stop at a road block in Bataguassu, 210 miles from Campo Grande.

Schweiz führt Bußgeldregelung für Kiffer ein


Cannabiskonsum wird in der Schweiz seit gestern, Dienstag, 1. Oktober 2013, mit einer Ordnungsbuße von 100 Franken (ca. 82 Euro) bestraft – unter der Voraussetzung, dass die Person mindestens 18-jährig ist und höchstens 10 g Cannabis mit sich trägt. Dies ist genau so viel, wie man bezahlen muss, wenn man ohne Fahrschein in einem Zug in der Schweiz bei der Fahrscheinkontolle angetroffen wird.

Prosecutors in New York today said that federal agencies have taken over the Silk Road, a sprawling underground Web site that has earned infamy as the “eBay of drugs.” On Tuesday, federal agents in San Francisco arrested the Silk Road’s alleged mastermind. Prosecutors say 29-year-old Ross William Ulbricht, a.k.a “Dread Pirate Roberts” (DPR), will be charged with a range of criminal violations, including conspiracy to commit drug trafficking, and money laundering.

Silk Road hatte angeblich rund eine Million registrierte Mitglieder. Der Dienst wurde als sogenannter Hidden Service im Tor-Netzwerk betrieben. Diese versteckten Dienste sind darauf ausgelegt, die tatsächlichen IP-Adressen der Server geheim zu halten.
