S M O K E Homegrown
A distant chemical relative of marijuana may hold the promise of relieving depression and anxiety without the negative side effects of a marijuana high. A new study shows the synthetic forms of the active ingredient in marijuana are gentler on the brains of animals and work much in the same way as popular antidepressants such as Prozac, Zoloft, Celexa, and Paxil.

Everybody's needs a dream and for Cypress Hill rapper B-Real, it's the idea that Cheech and Chong will one day reunite for a movie. B-Real, who recently booked Tommy Chong on his Smoke Out festival in L.A., believes a new Cheech and Chong film would be a blockbuster, because folks have been without their comedy team-up for so long.
Although Cheech supposedly won't go back to the stoner genre because he's afraid it will hurt "his serious acting career," B-Real thinks otherwise.

Tommy Chong's bongs on display in art exhibit at Los Angeles gallery
There was something suspiciously rehearsed about the Tommy Chong art show at the new Los Angeles gallery Ghettogloss, and it wasn't simply the fact that nearly every piece could double as a bong. Even the tattooed locals appeared well-cast.
Actor Michael Perrick stood in the center of the gallery amid a modest crowd of neon-haired guests, studying what appeared to be a glob of melted glass water pipes.
