KILLED BY SIX JOINTS A DAY
A MAN died from cannabis poisoning after smoking around 24,000 reefers in 11 years.
Lee Maisey, 36, is believed to be the first Briton to die as a direct result of taking the drug, which the Government will downgrade to class C next week.
An inquest heard he smoked around six spliffs a day.

Polnische Zöllner haben am Autobahnübergang Frankfurt/Swiecko die Rekordzahl von 60.000 Ecstasy-Tabletten und knapp drei Kilogramm Marihuana sichergestellt. Die Beamten entdeckten ihren Fund in einem aus Deutschland kommenden polnischen Pkw.

Chong Backed by Tokin' Resistance
At first glance, Tommy Chong seems woefully miscast in the role of martyr.
The comedian, who rose to fame in the '70s and '80s, is renowned for, more than anything else, playing a bumbling pot smoker as half of the moviemaking team Cheech and Chong. More recently, he played off that image with a glass pipe and bong business, Nice Dreams Enterprises; an advertising campaign for a contraption to foil drug tests; and a recurring role on the Fox sitcom That '70s Show.

Officers follow their noses to illegal pot farm
Officers in Southern California didn't need a crime dog to sniff out a pot farm _ they just followed their own noses. Police found more than a thousand marijuana plants and a sophisticated growing operation Tuesday in a warehouse in the Costa Mesa area. During the raid, officers confiscated about $75,000 worth of water pumps, electric valves and giant lights used in cultivating the illegal weed.

Ecstasy kills boy who made anti-drug film
A schoolboy who wrote and directed an anti-drugs film died after taking ecstasy "because he heard it was a laugh", an inquest was told yesterday.
Ben Hennessy, 15, lost consciousness after "bombing" up to four and a half ecstasy tablets with a friend, only a week after the film was first screened.
