We hates software
A first, I think, on hates software - a games hate.
To be honest I quite like the game - a conspiracy based FPS based on a Belgian comic with stylish cel shading done with much more flair than usual - lots of nice comic book touches. In general it's fun to play - nothing world shattering but not terrible by any strecth of the imagination.

Not all Apple users are idiots, you idiot!
Is it worth it?
Is it worth posting letters from level-headed Apple afficionados to redress the damage caused by the partisans? Is it worth giving the Apple kingdom yet another opportunity to explain why they may or may not be crazy? Is it worth mentioning yet again that El Reg is chock full of happy Mac users?
The answer to all these questions is 'no,' we fear.

AMD Athlon 64 3400+
It wasn't long ago that the Athlon 64 family of CPUs was launched by AMD and it has already had two new additions: the 3000+ and now the 3400+. The only difference is the speed. But as we know from past experiences with AMD processors, gigahertz isn't everything, and the 3400+ is an amazingly fast CPU.
